AC Milan put their recent disappointment of loosing 1-2 to Atlanta by defeating Genoa 2-0 at San Siro.

The first half was ended goal-less with Pato missing two excellent chances to put AC Milan ahead.

Pato then got his act right by finding the net in the 68th minutes. One minute after Pato’s goal, Genoa went down to 10 men when Scarpi was sent off for handling Pato’s shot.

Pato put the tie beyond Genoa’s reach when he scored on the 82nd minute. This goal is a gem as he surged towards Genoa’s goal with some pace and found the net.

A cool three points for AC Milan and keep their UEFA Champions League pursuit intact.
