Arsenal vs West Ham Highlights

Arsenal stayed at the summit of the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over West Ham. West Ham started poorly as they conceded an early goal through Eduardo who put the Gunners ahead in the second minute, finding space in the box to whack the ball into the bottom corner. A start which West Ham manager Alan Curbishley would want to avoid.

Going down to an early goal did not stop West Ham from creating a few chances themselves. Anton Ferdinand, the hero in West Ham famous 2-1 win over Man Utd had a shot cleared off the line.

Arsenal doubled their lead when Emmanuel Adebayor scored from the narrowest of angels to give Arsenal a comfortable 2-0 lead.

The match faded after Adebayor’s goal and the match was a battle in the middle of the park between both teams. Arsene Wenger must be pleased with his team performances as Arsenal had collected 10 points from possible of 12 points over Christmas. Not only that, Arsenal now leads the table by 2 pointsover arch rivals Manchester United.
