Barcelona defeated Villarreal 1-0 thanks to a Thierry Henry header in the 41st minute to put Barcelona in the semi finals of the Copa del Rey. Barca won 1-0 on aggregate as well.

Lionel Messi proved to be biggest problem for Villarreal as his runs from midfield really left Villarreal defenders stunned. The score might turned out bigger if not for some good saved by Villarreal keeper Lopez.

The winner came when Deco sent an inch perfect pass from a free kick which found Henry unmarked to sent his header passed Lopez.

Villarreal played most of the second half with 10 men when Pascal Cygan was sent off for 2 bookings.

Lionel Messi had the chance to double Barcelona’s lead in the second half, but his spot kick was saved by Lopez with ease.

In the end, Barcelona held on to qualify for the semi finals together with Valencia, Getafe and Racing Santander.
