Bendtner: Stupidity or Unavoidable?

bendtner stupidity or unavoidable 04/02/2008 uefa champions league 1-1

Niklas Bendtner was at the right place but at the wrong time when he cleared a sure goal chance by his teammate Fabregas.

It was an important moment for the match as Arsenal was trying to get a lead for the 2nd leg in Anfield but the Danish striker spoiled it.

To me, it was plain stupidity! :) What say you?

Not stupidity. He was sort of tumbling over anyway when the shot was taken. Very hard to get out of the way in that situation. I feel sorry for the guy.

Man that is terrible. One of my friends was trying to tell me that he was offside regardless and it would not have made a difference if he let it go in. But after looking again, he clearly was not offside.

He just scored Arsenal’s only goal in today’s draw against Liverpool. Give the guy some damn credit!

very unfortunate. when you play football, which i do, and do those types of things, you feel like you never want to play football again. unlucky, bendtner.

See you at The Emirates to try and win against liverpool. You will score a header, i promise, and Cesc will set you up.

A definite offside. The liverpool player is on the line. But revise your offside rule. The keeper was in front of the last player who was on the line. that makes him offside mate.
