What else is there for Liverpool this season? The EPL is out of reach and knock out of the League Cup. With a match in the Champions League looming against Inter Milan, the FA Cup is their only chance to win something.

But, Liverpool lost surprisingly to Barnsley 1-2 in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Once again, Rafa Benitez rotation policy went against him.

Liverpool did well when The Kops took the lead in the 32nd minute through Dutch striker, Dirk Kuyt, his first goal since December 2007.

Liverpool had a few chances to increase their lead but Harry Kewell had his effort of the bar.

Then came the cruel blow in the second minute of injury timewhen Brian Howard found some space on the edge of the box to drill home the winner.

Anfield went silenced while the travelling Barnsley fans were making all the noises. A stunning victory for Barnsley indeed.
