Manchester City vs Blackburn

Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers shared the spoils at the City of Manchester Stadium with a 2-2 draw.City’s perfect Premier League home record bit the dust when Santa Cruz scored twice.

Darius Vassell gave City the lead before Santa Cruz equalized. Rovers found themselves behind once more then skipper Ryan Nelsen slid into his own net.

Then came the moment of controversial. The linesman had already raised his flag when Santa Cruz equalized, his 13th goal of the season only to then advice referee Howard Webb he had made an incorrect decision in ruling a non active David Dunn offside.
