Sven Manchester City vs Liverpool

Liverpool could not take advantage on Manchester United slip up at West Ham when Liverpool only managed a 0-0 draw with Manchester City at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Sven Goran Eriksson put out a team not to loose this match. Rolando Bianchi started from the bench with Elano starting.

City had to thank Richard Dunne’s heroic defensive display as he cleared the lines and made goal saving tackles to put Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard at bay.

Dirk Kuyt could have won the match for Liverpool late on but City’s keeper Joe Hart denied Liverpool.

Liverpol is 10 points of the pace of Arsenal with 1 game in hand.
