Manchester United vs Everton Highlights
Manchester United kept track with league leaders Arsenal when United defeated Everton 2-1 at Old Trafford. United took the lead in the 22nd minute through Christiano Ronaldo’s special strike outside the box. Ronaldo’s strike left Tim Howard with no chance what so ever to react. It was a beauty!
5 minutes later Tim Cahill found the back of the net with a powerful header which left Kuszczak with no chance.
United tried to break through Everton after that but comes to no avail. Sir Alex Ferguson made a superb tactical change by instructing Ryan Giggs to drift to the middle instead of the wing. Boy oh boy, what a change it was when Ryan Giggs was brought down in the penalty box by Steven Pienaar which left the referee with no chance but to point to the spot.
Ronaldo was under intense pressure to score but did not disappoint then he coolly slotted the ball to Tim Howard’s right. 2-1 Manchester United! Ronaldo’s brace show’s the world how good he can be. United made sure they went to Christmas with only 1 point behind Arsenal.
