Manchester United took on managerless Newcastle United at Old Trafford. Guess what is the first half score? 0-0! United were controlling for the most part of the match but could not find a way through Shay Given.
Let’s not talk about the first half. The second half started only four minutes and Utd found the net. It came from their favorite son, none other then Cristiano Ronaldo. This time, Ronaldo defeated Shay Given with a well placed free kick.
Six minutes later, some poor defending by Newcastle, 2-0 to United with Carlos Tevez guiding the ball to the empty goal.
United third came again from Ronaldo with Tevez being the provider this time. A pint point passed found Ronaldo all alone against Given and bang! 3-0 United.
Rio Ferdinand scored United’s fourth goal in the 85th minute after being found unmarked in the box by Rooney. Ferdinand coolly slotted the ball home like a striker. Oh yeah, Ferdinand was a striker in the early days!
Ronaldo then found his first career hattrick for United with a 88th minute strike. This time, it took a deflection before finding the net.
The goal spree did not just end there when Tevez added a sixth for United in the last minute of the match. Did Tevez goal crossed the line? Who cares anyway. 6-0 for United and Newcastle will be disappointed with their performance today. The next manager taking over at Newcastle will have a tough job ahead of him. Newcastle surely in shambles.

No doubt about that for this season in England. For a winger to score 20 odd goals already is magnificent.

well admin after thankin u as usual
tho tevez ..rooney..gigs & scholes are not bad tho..but he still the faster..the most talented & the one who steal the attention of more than one player so that he give spaces
he is not just a wing
he is the brain of ManUtd…he is the soul
if he just grow up & stop acting like a young kid ..he will be perfect :))

Totally agree with you Diyaa. Ronaldo has really grown up especially after the Rooney incident in Euro. Besides that, he does not dive around like he used to lastime. He will be World Player of the year one of this days.
