Newcastle vs Derby Mark Viduka

Sam Allardyce head is on the chopping board as Newcastle scrapped through a 2-2 draw with Derby. Many are not happy with Big Sam tactics and team selection rather then the team’s performances on the pitch.

One of the reasons for the outrage was putting Obafemi Martins out on the right wing instead attacking from the middle where Martins strength for getting goal is.

Newcastle started on the wrong foot as Giles Barnes had put the visitors ahead from a 20 years on six minute before Mark Viduka equalized with a precise effort.

Derby took the lead again on the 52nd minute when Howard and Reale helped a long clearance into Kenny Miller’s path. The striker needed no second invitaion and calmly slotted past Shay Given to make it 2-1.

Mark Viduka yet again proved to be the hero for Newcastle as he fired past Bywater from 15 yards to snatch a point with 3 minutes remaining on the clock. Newcastle tried to snatch all 3 points but their search for a winner did not come.
