Roy Keane Sunderland vs Birmingham Highlights

Sunderland moved out of the relegation spot with a 2-0 win over Birmingham City.

Sunderland’s manager Roy Keane was surely a happy man as his side one goal in each half to see off the challenge of Alex McLeish men.

Sunderland took the lead when Daryl Murphy scored in the 15th minute.

Aalborg, Denmark fans must be ecstatic when their former player Rade Prica, Swedish, scored Sunderland’s second goal in the 65th minute.

This is Prica’s debut game and my oh my, he did shine for his new club. His 65th minute strike was a deft finish as Prica capitalized on the mistake by Liam Ridgewell. Thanks to Braun and Pollack for Prica’s information. :)

A well deserved victory for Roy Keane and his men.

From swedish newspaper Aftonbladet you can read the words of columnist Peter Wennman (who is the papers english football expert) - freely translated:

“One of our biggest football mysteries. That was exactly my thoughts when Rade Prica entered Stadium of Lights for his debut in the greatest league in the world. What was HE doing there?”

The common opinion in Sweden about Rade is that he doesn’t make the standard to play in the swedish national team (he’s often in the squad) and nobody can understand why Sunderland signed him. But, he scores goals and it will be interesting to watch him further in the PL.

As long as he comes with all the goods, i guess Roy Keane would not careless about what others think.
