Tottenham vs Arsenal (Carling Cup)
After eight years, Tottenham ended their jinx against arch rivals Arsenal and Spurs did it with style. Spurs trashed Arsenal 5-1 to book a trip to Wembley in the Carling Cup final.
Not since November 1999 and through 21 previous encounters had Spurs fans been able to see Spurs beating Arsenal.
It all went wrong for the Gunners as the conceded an early goal to Jermaine Jenas in the 3rd minute. The floodgates opened after that early goal.
Then came Niklas Bendtner own goal when the unfortunate Dane guided the ball pass his own keeper.
The goals kept coming in for Spurs as Robbie Keane and Aaron Lennon scored in the 48th and 60th minutes respectively.
Arsenal pulled a goal back in the 70th minute through Adebayor but it was little too late for any revival.
Steed Malbranque put the icing on the cake when he added the fifth for Spurs in the 90th minute. 5-1 Spurs and Spurs going to Wembley!

Shut up Julio_300. You dont know anything about Arsenal. We are going to win the EPL and the Champions League. Spurs only can win third grade cups!~@!#~@#~@$

despite d squard combination of hleb,fabregas,gallas,adebayor,etc arsenal still loss not by a lone goal or two but 5 goals to 1; what a shame to the gunners!
